warning :)

Sorry for any typos. I mostly blog from my iPhone lying in bed nursing a baby or sitting on the couch nursing a baby, or wearing a baby nursing. In between home schooling and laundry and diaper changing. Oh did I mention I might be nursing a baby? The point is, I rarely sit down at the computer. Thanks for understanding. You're the best!

Going green or, Lots of kids

Reusing bath towels is just part of having 5 kids (or going green) whatever your deal is. Mine, it lots if kids and no desire to have 5-7 bath towels to wash daily. No thank you!

We have had a problem with, how do we store that many towels after bath time?

Well her you have That Crazy Moms 5 minute solution.

Labeled hangers.

Each child has a color. After a bath we hang them over the hanger and on the shower rod.
It's been working really well.

Do you have a special way you hang towels to reuse?

Today I'm linking up with mommy monday The modest mom and moms the word, go check them out. Really great stuff! Thanks ladies, I am always inspired.

The Website is live!

It's live, It's live! My website is live! I am so happy. I have been trying to get this thing up and running since Christmas last year. Now it is done. The site is still bare bones. You can only order custom Ring slings. I will be stocking some already made slings, nursing covers and aprons soon. But I am up and ready for new custom orders. You can send in fabric or just message me what you're looking for and I'll whip up a beautiful creation made just for you.

I love being a mom, I love homeschooling, I love being a wife and homemaker, but trying to get it all done at the sometime is hard work. That Crazy Mom came out of a need for simple sane parenting.

Check it out. What do you think?

Glow sticks equal happiness?

The kids were sick today. Well, ok we only had one sick kid. But that meant, sick day for all. (No formal school)

By the afternoon our sick little one was feeling a bit better and the others we ready for some run around fun.

I happens to have glow sticks for some reason ( thank you Pinterest for convincing me I needed them)
So, I cracked them open and sent them to  the playroom. Off with the lights, I ordered.
And the giggles began. They built a camp fire, they roasted hot dogs, they made their paper plate masks glow.(yes paper plate super hero masks)
(Yes it looks kinda like Jason, I know. Don't judge) ;)

It was a great end to a sick morning. I got to get some laundry done and listen to the giggles (only a little fighting) of my babies.

My conclusion? Glow sticks equal happiness. :)

Well maybe not, but they sure provided us some good clean fun!

Modest Monday - travel outfit.

Well, it's been a long wonderful weekend. The kids and myself are still visiting my family while my husband remodels our home. But this weekend my amazingly brave dad, drove us (4 loud kids and me) to Salt Lake City UT to meet up with my husband and step son for, Man In The Moon Event
We only got to attend the education seminar (everything was sold out before we decided to go) but it was wonderful for us all to see my husband. The kids were so happy. And the conference was informative. (I'll blog about that another day)

Here's what I wore to travel in.
Sorry for the bad picture. I take them all with the self timer on my iPhone.
Shirt- the only one I like :)
Shirts- a kaki cargo skirt I got from a friend
Shoes- flip flops.
It was comfy and practical.

What are your go to travel outfits?
